🗓 8 Days Tour to Hunza & Skardu 

📍Route: Islamabad – Chilas – Hunza – Khunjerab Pass – Skardu – Shangrila – Shigar – Islamabad
🚗 Mode: By Road (via Karakoram Highway)

Day 1: Islamabad – Chilas (via Naran/Babusar or Besham Route)

• Departure at night from Islamabad.

• Travel through the scenic Kaghan Valley and Babusar Top (if open) or Besham route in winter.

• Stopovers at Balakot, Naran, Lulusar Lake, and Babusar Pass.

• Overnight stay in Chilas.

🛏️ Stay: Chilas (Hotel Shangrila / Panorama Hotel)
🍴 Meals: Breakfast, Dinner

Day 2: Chilas – Hunza Valley

• Drive towards Hunza via Karakoram Highway.

• Stopovers at Nanga Parbat View Point, Junction Point of Three Mountain Ranges (Karakoram, Himalaya, Hindu Kush), and Rakaposhi View Point.

• Arrival in Hunza – visit Karimabad Bazaar in the evening.

• Overnight stay in Hunza.

🛏️ Stay: Hunza (Eagle’s Nest / Hunza Embassy Hotel)

Day 3: Explore Hunza Valley

• Visit Baltit Fort and Altit Fort – explore Hunza culture & history.

• Visit Attabad Lake, Passu Cones, and Hussaini Suspension Bridge.

• Return to Karimabad by evening.

• Enjoy sunset view from Duikar (Eagle’s Nest Point).

🛏️ Stay: Hunza

Day 4: Hunza – Khunjerab Pass (Pakistan–China Border) – Hunza

• Early morning departure to Khunjerab Pass (16,000 ft) – the highest paved border crossing in the world.

• Sightseeing at Sost, Khunjerab National Park, and snow-capped mountains.

• Return to Hunza by evening.

🛏️ Stay: Hunza

Day 5: Hunza – Skardu (via Gilgit & Skardu Road)

• Depart from Hunza to Skardu through the new Gilgit–Skardu Road (approx. 6–7 hours).

• Enjoy breathtaking views along the Indus River.

• Arrival in Skardu by evening.

• Free time for rest or local market visit.

🛏️ Stay: Skardu (Hotel One / Tibet Motel / Reos Resort)

Day 6: Skardu – Shangrila – Upper Kachura – Shigar Valley

• Visit Shangrila Lake (Lower Kachura) & Upper Kachura Lake.

• Continue to Shigar Valley – visit Shigar Fort & Cold Desert (Sarfaranga).

• Return to Skardu for overnight stay.

🛏️ Stay: Skardu

Day 7: Skardu – Deosai National Park (optional if road open)

• Full-day excursion to Deosai Plains, the world’s second-highest plateau.

• Visit Sheosar Lake and enjoy breathtaking landscapes and wildlife.

• Return to Skardu in the evening.

Day 8: Skardu – Chilas – Islamabad

• Early morning departure for Islamabad.

• Stopovers for lunch and photography.

• Arrive in Islamabad by late night.
