Karachi is the metropolitan city of Pakistan located on the Arabian Sea near the Indus River delta. As Karachi is located on the coast of the Arabian Sea, it has almost tropical weather conditions, although the weather remains almost moderate all the year long. As compared to other areas of Pakistan, Karachi has two main seasons; winter and summer (is of the longest period), while spring and autumn are shortest. Summer season persists for the longest period during the year. In Karachi monsoon season starts from July and remains till September.
