Bhawalpur

Bhawalpur is the 12th largest city situated in the South Punjab, Pakistan. This city is prominent because of its rich historical background as Bahawalpur had remained the capital of the past princely state of Bahawalpur ruled by Rajput Nawabs of India's Rajasthan state. An ancient historical structure “Derawar Fort’ also lies in the Cholistan Desert near the Bhawalpur City, and it also serves as the doorway to Pakistan’s Lal Suhanra National Park.

Abbassi Mosque

Lal Sohanra National Park

It is one of the largest national parks of South Asia, and UNESCO has declared it Biosphere Reserve. The landscape of the park varies from desert to wetland to the forest ecosystem. Travelers will have to go 25 km east of Bahawalpur to reach here. The total area of it is 127,480 acres.

Central Library

Bahawalpur Central Library is the second largest library of Punjab, Pakistan and is known for its Italian inspired architecture. It has a collection of unique 100,000 books along with newspapers collections from 1947 onwards. Gulzar Mahal

Gulzar Mahal, commissioned by Nawab Sadiq Muhammad Khan IV, was the first building in Bahawalpur to have concealed electrical wiring. It has an eye-catching European inspired architecture and has been liked by visitors a lot.

Sadiq Dane High School
